He is what you would call a cool cat. Sometimes so cool you would think you could not even touch him. But when he gets around his family he is so silly, goofy, an almost 19 year old stuck in a 12 year olds body. He is playful, funny, loving and ooooh so sweet. He makes my heart smile with is carefree ways. He has no limits. He will get what he wants out of life and he will be happy doing so. What Senior would ask for his mom to make a cameo in HIS photo shoot?? This guy!!! That is how cute he is. He has a huge heart and he deserves the best in life to come his way because of it. I love you Chris. I am so proud of you!! Here’s to the Class of 2010!!

We did the shoot at South Mountain.  And it was gorgeous!!!

You guys are beautiful

She is my little flower from heaven.  I called her that before I even knew the sex of the baby.  I just had a feeling she would be a piece of heaven.  And I was right.  She never judges.  She never says a mean thing about ANYBODY!!! She has such a compassionate heart and she is full of sunshine.  A HUGE ray of sunshine.  And she shares in my passion.  She loves modeling for me and she loves photographing as well.  She always loves to look at my photos and encourages me daily.  She is only nine but she acts well over her age.  She knows just the right things to say at all the right times.  She is known to make me smile when I am down and she knows when to bring the tissues if for some reason I can’t smile.  She loves beyond reason.  She is a slice of heaven.  I am so lucky to have her.  She means the world to me.  Leilani, thank you for always being you.  You will be anything your heart desires!  Momma loves you!!!

Marlea is such a sweet soul.  She is beautiful inside and out.  I am not sure that she knows that or not but these photos will tell you otherwise.  Marlea dreaded this day.  She argued with her mom about why she needed an hour of photos taken of her, she would already have tons taken at her Bat Mitzvah which I am proud to say I will be photographing in May.  Either way, I showed up and the rest is history.  Marlea is very talented and has many skills.  She loves to read and currently was enjoying The Lovely Bones.  I think I brought her out of her shell?   Wouldn’t you say so?  By the end of the shoot we were laughing and messing around and just plain having fun with it all.  When I got a text from her mom that evening.  My heart about popped.  She said, “I don’t know how you did it, but Marlea said she had the best time ever, you have such a talent with making people feel comfortable in front of the camera and making them feel beautiful.”   My heart was content.  I know it’s hard being in front of a camera.  But the person behind it needs to make you forget about it.  I don’t know how I do it, I just try and relate with my clients the way I would want someone to relate with me if I were in front of it.    And maybe it’s because I don’t think of this as a job but more something I totally adore doing and have such a passion for that it all comes naturally.  Marlea, I can’t wait for your Bat Mitzvah and I know next time around it will be a cinch for you to pose for me and just be your beautiful self!! xoxo

A few bumps in the road on their wedding day could not stop this couple from looking HOT!!!!!  Totally rocking it out here!  I just think they are adorable don’t you??!!!  Lorrayne and Ruben you guys are seriously such a cute couple.  I love how sweet Ruben is on you Lorrayne.  Makes my heart melt.

I have known Josie for almost my whole life. Since probably about 4 or 5 years old. I remember singing Ebony and Ivory to her and her friend Jackie when they would walk by my house. And I probably threw rocks at her too (in a playful way). What can I say?? I was a brat ok. But she loved it. First she was my sister-in-law. But when that didn’t work out, she never became my ex sister-in-law but more like my sister. Always welcome into our family. Always with open arms. Josie has loved and Josie has lost. It was never an easy road for her but she sure did chug along and make the best of it. She has raised 3 beautiful sons who I am proud to call my nephews. And she continues to love. Love like she has never lost. And for that reason, I admire her. I admire her strength, I admire the fact that she has no fear. I admire her courage to continue to find that love that will last her a lifetime. I am almost envious of it! I was super excited to hear that Josie finally found her soul mate. Someone she truly adores. Someone who adores her back. Great things happen when you least expect it. Last weekend they said their vows in the very place that Raul proposed, on their special trail that they walked frequently. How romantic right? I love a romance story with a happy ending. I know good things are in store for you guys. You truly deserve all the happiness that you have been blessed with. And Raul please know that my family will open our house and hearts to you as well. Thank you for giving your all to her.
